Oak Bobbin Chair
This is a really lovely Oak chair which has been sympathetically restored and refreshed.
The chair has such beautiful details including bobbin-turned legs to the front, gently curved arms, a spindle back and a newly re-upholstered seat.
The seat pad itself has been replaced to ensure comfort, and has been finished with a white and grey boucle fabric.
The previous wood finish was failing so the frame has been hand-sanded back to the original oak and sympathetically stained to show off the natural wood grain which is in a wonderful condition overall minus one or two very minor signs of it’s age. It is both sturdy and comfortable.
The chair would look wonderful in any stylish home, it would work perfectly as a desk or dressing table chair, or simply as an occasional chair in a hallway or bedroom for example.
